A great day was had by all who attended the grand opening of the new facilities at Stephenstown on the Ardee Rd. The weather unfortunatly didn't hold out but as it was remarked on the day 'the show must go on'. Everyone who attended agreed that the work carried out by the Association was outstanding, of course it would not have been possible without the Inter reg IIIA grant and hard working committee and members.

Members of the Louth Branch of the P.W.D.I were very impressed by the new Disabled Anglers fishing stands and easy access car-park. It will be of great benefit to disabled and handicapped anglers who will be able to fish in comfort and safety.

For the opening we had the pleasure of having one of the original founding members Mr John Minogue who braved the cold and wet weather after a long illness to officially open the Disabled area and Car-park.
